Educational Qualifications – ESIC Professor Job 2026
Medical Candidates
Candidates must possess a recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule of the IMC Act, 1956 along with MD/MS or equivalent postgraduate qualification in the concerned specialty or allied discipline.
Non-Medical Candidates
Candidates must possess a Postgraduate Degree (Master’s) and PhD in the concerned subject or allied discipline from a recognized university as per MCI/NMC regulations.
Teaching Experience
Candidates should have four years of teaching experience as Reader/Associate Professor in a recognized medical college OR three years as Associate Professor with at least four research publications in indexed/national journals.

Selection Process
- As per the ESIC Recruitment Notification, candidates for the above-mentioned posts will be selected based on an Interview conducted by the ESIC Selection Board.
- If the number of applications is high, candidates may be shortlisted based on teaching experience and academic achievements.
Salary
As per the ESIC Recruitment Notification, the selected candidates will receive Pay Level-13 in the Pay Matrix ranging from ₹1,23,100 to ₹2,15,900 along with Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA), DA, HRA, Transport Allowance, and other admissible benefits.
Age Limit
As per the ESIC Recruitment Notification, candidates should not exceed 50 years of age as on the closing date of application submission.
